Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
1/2 cup pepitas
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup craisins
1/4 cup chocolate chips
Add-ins, such as nuts, optional!
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 F
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or cooking spray
Put the oats (and any nuts, if you decide to use!) on the sheet tray and bake for 10-15 minutes until they are toasted.
Combine butter, honey, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt into a sauce pan over Medium heat.
Once combined, cool slightly and then pour the butter mixture into a bowl with the toasted oats, seeds, and craisins and mix well.
Add chocolate chips to the mixture last, to keep them from melting!
Transfer the oat mixture to the a cooking sheet and firmly press the mixture flat (packing them into the pan tightly will help them keep their shape in bar form!)
Refrigerate for 2 or more hours before serving to help the bars set.
Cut, serve, and enjoy!
