RYAN LASWELL, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Ryan started at Nourish in 2015 as Program Coordinator, elevating to Program Director before being named Executive Director in 2021. Favorite fruit or vegetable: whatever is in season! Fun fact: I love composting because it makes food waste into valuable, rich, nutrient-dense compost to help us grow more healthy food.

NICOLE HANSEN, BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIRECTOR Nicole first joined Nourish as Office Manager in 2018, becoming Operations Manager and then our Business Operations Director in 2021. Favorite fruit or vegetable: raspberries, but my dog eats them all before I can harvest! Fun fact: my master’s is actually in school counseling, and I love seeing our impact and education in action at Nourish.

 

RACHEL ADOLPH, R.D., NUTRITION EDUCATION MANAGER Since 2019, Rachel served as an educational farm intern and then returned in 2020 as a dietetic intern before becoming our Registered Dietician. Favorite fruit or vegetable: peaches and tomatoes Fun fact: I am the 1st chair violinist in the Sheboygan Symphony.

MATT FRIAUF, FARM & FACILITIES COORDINATOR Matt joined Nourish as our Farm and Facilities Coordinator in 2019. Favorite fruit or vegetable: potato Fun fact: I have met Massimo Bottura in a class in Italy and at his restaurant!

 

BRUCE BRUNNER, FARM MANAGER Bruce joined Nourish as our Farm Manager in 2023. Favorite fruit or vegetable: Fun fact: I was the agricultural teacher at Sheboygan Falls for over 20 years!

NICOLE FUSELIER, FARM2SCHOOL PROGRAM MANAGER Nicole started with Nourish in her role as Educator in 2022 before moving into her management role. Favorite fruit or vegetable: Early Girl Tomato Fun fact: My favorite holiday is Mardi Gras, and I love to make gumbo.

 

KATIE STYRA, SALES AND EVENT MANAGER Katie S. joined the team in 2023. Favorite fruit or vegetable: pineapple Fun fact: Along with my event planning passion, I have undergrad and graduate degrees in elementary education and am a certified group fitness instructor. 

SAM LASWELL, CULINARY COORDINATOR Sam started with Nourish in 2015 as a contract chef for Good Food Club (GFC) and was hired on in 2021. Favorite fruit or vegetable: tomatoes, and kohlrabi Fun fact: I have an urban hobby farm that I’ve been learning and growing on for over 10 years.

 

KRISTEN SHAVER, R.D., KITCHEN MANAGER Kristen rejoined the team in 2023 and has since completed her designation as a Registered Dietician! Favorite fruit or vegetable: berries Fun fact: I make handmade necklaces using Lake Michigan beach stones.
