NICOLE HANSEN, BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIRECTOR Nicole joined Nourish in 2018. Favorite fruit or vegetable: raspberries, but my dog eats them all before I can harvest! Fun fact: I love seeing our impact and education in action at Nourish as my graduate degree is actually in school counseling.

KATIE STYRA, PROGRAM DIRECTOR Katie joined Nourish in 2023. Favorite fruit or vegetable: pineapple Fun fact: Along with my event planning passion, I have undergrad and graduate degrees in elementary education and am a certified group fitness instructor.

MIKE VANG, CULINARY COORDINATOR Mike joined the culinary team in 2024. Favorite fruit or vegetable: I like all fruits and vegetables. If I were to pick a favorite, I'd say mangos and coconuts. Fun fact: A fun fact about me is I have 9 siblings! 

SAM LASWELL, CULINARY COORDINATOR Sam started with Nourish in 2015 as a contractor and joined the staff in 2021. Favorite fruit or vegetable: tomatoes, and kohlrabi Fun fact: I have an urban hobby farm that I’ve been learning and growing on for over 10 years.

TANYA PERNAT, FARM2SCHOOL COORDINATOR Tanya joined our team in 2024. Favorite fruit or vegetable: Anything but sweet potato (but I’ll still give it a try!) Fun fact: I love traveling to new places, especially driving in our van!

TREVOR THURSTON, CULINARY COORDINATOR Trevor joined our team in 2024. Favorite fruit or vegetable: Blueberries! Fun fact: I enjoy working on projects around the house and recently made a live-edge coffee table.

MEL WILKE, GOOD FOOD EDUCATOR Mel joined our team in 2024. Favorite fruit or vegetable: zucchini, and fruit of choice is bananas with some brown spots Fun fact: Mel can't smell!  But I know good food when I see and taste it. I love cooking over a campfire, especially in pudgy pie irons.
