Wondering what to do with all those tomatoes? Curious about canning and how you can get into food preservation? Guest Chef Amanda Strojinc returns to Nourish for a canning demonstration class.
In this class, Amanda will review both water canning and pressure canning and demonstrate the canning process for tomatoes and green beans. There will be opportunities for hands on learning throughout the class. Each participant will go home with a jar of canned goods and a wealth of information to start or grow their home preservation process.
This class is open to all ages. Please note this is a demonstration based class and will not include hands-on instruction or a meal. Tickets for this class are $35/attendee. Pre-registration is required.
