Kickstart Your Health: Power of Your Plate Series with Elaine Jumes, Farsighted Foodie

Start the new year feeling energized and confident in the kitchen. Elaine Jumes of Farsighted Foodie is back in 2026 with a 5-week healthy cooking series designed to help you take meaningful steps toward a plant-based lifestyle.

Throughout the series, Elaine will guide participants through five core topics: Power of Your Plate, Let’s Go, Getting in Gear, Breaking the Food Seduction, and Keys for Natural Appetite Control. Each class includes a live cooking demonstration along with handouts featuring easy, affordable recipes you can prepare at home.


Dates: January 13, 20, 27, February 3 & 10

Time: 6:00–8:00 PM

Registration: Sign up for individual classes or register for the full series.

Cost: $45 per class, or $180 for all five sessions when you register before January 11.

Class 1: The Power of Your Plate - Jan 13th

Get an introduction to plant-based eating and learn how to prepare for a low-fat, plant-based diet. You’ll leave with guidance on what to shop for, how to plan meals, and what the next week of preparation should look like.

Class 2: Let’s Go! - Jan 20th

Begin the 21-Day Kickstart. This session helps you put your preparation into action, with time to share your first week’s experiences and get support as you start the plant-based journey.

Class 3: Getting in Gear - Jan 27th

Settle into week two of the Kickstart. You’ll discuss what’s working, what’s challenging, and what changes you’re noticing—from increased energy to common early hurdles—as you adjust to new eating patterns.

Class 4: Breaking the Food Seduction - Feb 3rd

Explore why certain foods feel addictive and learn strategies for breaking cravings. This class helps you understand your food habits and build tools to stay on track.

Class 5: Keys for Natural Appetite Control - Feb 10th

Wrap up your three-week plant-based journey with tips for supporting natural appetite control and sustaining the changes you’ve made. Celebrate your progress and leave with next-step guidance.
