Nourish connects people to the community through good food.
Whether an individual or group, one time or ongoing, there are plenty of ways to get involved with Nourish. Learn about the opportunities available with some of our programs below:
Farm-to-School: After School Snack
Do you love kids and want to help spread the word about healthy foods and nutrition? This is the program for you! Snacks featuring local farm-fresh produce are served to 300 kids in grades K-5 in Sheboygan and Plymouth.
Expect to serve healthy snacks with kids at the local Boys & Girls Club and other after-school programs. Share fun facts about how the produce is grown, harvested, stored and cooked.

Adults and high school students looking for volunteer opportunities in the community
Kitchen and Culinary Assistance
Nourish is looking for volunteers to help prep food for our community dinners and other good-food gigs. Volunteers will work alongside our Nourish Chef and assist in basic food preparation. Nourish hosts Community Dinners monthly, and help would be needed the day prior to the event. No experience necessary, kids are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Contact Heather Bassett, Nourish Program Assistant, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Educational Urban Farm Assistance
Nourish welcomes groups or individuals to schedule volunteer time. You will assist with planting, weeding, harvesting, watering, and other garden tasks. While helping Nourish grow food for our programs and the greater community, you will also learn about growing food!
